When last year I adopted a kitty, I realized that a “regular” Christmas tree was a huge temptation for the playful feline, and some of my fragile and most precious decorations went lost forever… 😥 So, this year I opted for something different…
I used some tree branches, a hacksaw and a string and here is the result…
A Christmas tree
7 DecTree decorations
17 DecLast Christmas (I gave you my heart but the very next day you gave it away….)… no, it’s not the famous Wham! song…. is that, last Christmas I launched the ritual to make decorations for my tree (see here).
So, this year (to save me from tears, I’ll give it to someone special...) – sorry again for this Wham interference – I had to keep up with this newly established tradition.
That’s why last Friday, as I was stuck at home because of a little snowfall, I took the sewing machine and made these decorations… I made few of them. The white one was the prototype, but since it came out sufficiently decent I decided to hang it too. 🙂 I made six decorations with the Scottish fabric, three with silver thread and three with white thread.
The most difficult part for me was to sew in circle… that was an “experience”, but I think I’ve found out the trick. 😀

Christmas efforts #2
8 DecIt took me 1 hour and half this morning to decorate my Christmas tree but in the end I was quite satisfied with the result and also for this heart shaped decoration that I made myself.
I definitely have to improve with round sewing with the sewing machine but all in all it didn’t come out too bad!
