Just a couple of cute earrings that I made for myself. I don’t like big flashy earrings and I always prefer a simple design. These are made with a white glass bead, two golden brass disks, a purple chrystal and, of coruse, some brass wire.
Last Christmas Earrings #1
5 FebHere is a pair of earrings I made for a friend as Christmas gift. The box is also made by me with recycled cardboard, some washi tape and a self-printed sticker with my personal handmade stamp on it.

Clips
1 FebSome time ago, my friend Simona, who is my best and basically *only* client, ordered me a pair of earrings as birthday gift for a colleague.
As I was experimenting with wire and beads I showed her a pair of earrings I was working on and she decided for them straight away.
Since her colleague doesn’t have her ears pierced the most difficult thing in this project was to find some decent clips for the earrings.
The box is also made by me with recycled cardboard.

Experimenting
29 JanIn my incessant research of learning new technique I stumbled upon one which involves, once again, wire and beads. There was this pin coming up all the times on my Pinterest and I decided to give it a try. My result is far from being as nice as the one on Pinterest but this was just a first attempt….
[Light blue bugle glass seed beads, copper wire and cultivated pearls.]
Earrings for a birthday
9 JanI recently made this pair of earrings for a friend’s birthday. I really like this style and I may think to make a whole collection out of it….
Again, this is hammered brass, which this time I decorated piercing some holes, with cultivated pearls.
I also made good use (or at least I think so), of the brand new stamp I recently carved. I’m quite proud of the whole thing. 😄
Christmas purchase order 2
31 DecHere is another “made to order” gift. I have been asked to make it to match with a necklace that I made before….
As for the necklace I used blue crystal, Korean Jasper, amethyst, red crystal and red/orange agate.
Sunday earrings
9 NovI have been thinking for a while to make these earrings and finally yesterday I scraped together all my energies (Autumn is always such a difficult time of the year for me that I have some bear helix in my DNA) and here they are.
They are made of hammered wire and some coloured jade beads. Very easy. I think I might make a bracelet or a necklace to match with them….
Christmas gift #1
29 DecI haven’t updated this blog recently because I’ve been busy with Christmas gifts and I couldn’t upload their photos *before* the very day, but now that all the presents are in the hands of their recipients I can finally do so.
Here is the first one I made: an earrings organizer for my friend Paola. I painted a picture frame and added some lace strings and a little ribbon rosebud on top. I also added some nylon fish wire at the top of the laces for extra support.
I really like how it came out, and I hope she likes it too. 🙂
Copper and hammer
1 AprI’m still working with copper wire and hammer….. this time I made some earrings…. I still have to work on my hammering skills!
